So while savoring the fleeting days of summer at a Fort Myers Beach resort, celebrate your Labor Day with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Pinchers Crab Shack.

The Labor Day Beach Bash will be held on September 6, from noon until 3 p.m. at the Pinchers Crab Shack, reports WINK-TV. Five percent of your bill from the restaurant’s tiki menu will go to the Walk to Prevent Child Abuse Fund.

This year will mark the 5th year of the walk, according to the news source, which has already raised thousands of dollars to fight abuse. The walk will be held on October 16 at Pelican Preserve.

The money raised at the Labor Day Bash and the walk will be donated to the Children’s Network of Southwest Florida.

In this episode she taught the children how to make fruit smoothies and then paired it with a lesson from Marilyn and Joanne from the Ostego Bay Foundation.
