THE 8^TH ANNUAL HELPING KIDS WITH CANCER RADIOTHON

FORT MYERS BEACH, FL – October 15, 2009 – In support of The 8^th Annual Helping Kids with Cancer Radiothon, SunStream Hotels & Resorts has donated seven 3-day/2-night vacation stays from its collection of unique hotels and resorts in Southwest Florida. SunStream supports the children of Southwest Florida through its partnership with ClearChannel Radio, The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida and Barbara’s Friends. Together, the goal is to meet the growing and continuing need for comprehensive child healthcare in Southwest Florida. They are committed to delivering superior care to the youngest of patients, their families and our community.

On Friday, October 16, 2009, CLEAR CHANNEL Country WCKT/Ft. Myers will broadcast live from Miromar Outlets in Estero from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. to collect pledges for two local charitable causes – Barbara’s Friends and The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. Listeners can stop by to make a donation and will have the opportunity to become a “Guardian Angel,” in which they can donate $25 a month for one year. The station will conduct a random drawing from all “Guardian Angels” each hour, and one lucky listener will win a SunStream vacation or another hourly incentive prize.
