SUNSTREAM HOTELS & RESORTS TO HOST JOB FAIR FOR NEW RESORT
The Resort at MarinaVillage to open November 1, 2009,
creating more than 100 new jobs in Lee County
(CAPE CORAL, FL) – September 3, 2009 – SunStream Hotels & Resorts will host a job fair to begin staffing its new luxury resort in Cape Coral, The Resort at MarinaVillage. Developed by Grosse Pointe Development and professionally managed by SunStream Hotels & Resorts, The Resort at MarinaVillage plans a two day job fair, Thursday, September 17 (9am – 7pm) and Saturday, September 19 (9am – 4pm). SunStream will accept applications for more than 100 management and entry level positions, ranging from sales and catering and food and beverage to guest services and housekeeping.
As the newest luxury resort in the Lee County area, The Resort at MarinaVillage is a 19-story waterfront resort with, studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom condominium suites ranging up to 2,225 square feet. The resort offers a southwest Florida respite, with all the amenities of Tarpon Point Marina, from boat slips to waterfront dining and shopping. A 3,657-sq. ft. Esterra Spa & Salon, SunStream’s signature spa, will be among the resort’s select offerings.
According to Jennifer Seaborn, Director of Sales & Marketing for SunStream Hotels & Resorts, “With Lee County’s unemployment rates at nearly 13 percent, we are proud to do something to help stimulate our local economy. Not only will the opening of The Resort at MarinaVillage help stream tourism dollars to the area, we are also opening up the area’s job market, with more than 100 new hospitality positions.”

This job fair is needed in the cape coral no body has jobs here and people are losing there houses because there is no jobs and thas really good for me to is close to my house.
Here at SunStream, we are very excited to provide our community with so many new jobs! We feel so fortunate that we are able to extend these new employment opportunities.
I am extremely excite about this job fair i have been unemployed for almost 2 years and it has been very stressful in this economic stage. I just moved to Cape coral from lehigh and it would be great if i had the oppurtunity to work for this hotel.
