Even though I only live 10 minutes from the beach and actually work at GullWing Beach Resort, I always feel like I’m on a tropical vacation when I stay in a resort as a guest. One of my best friends was in town so we decided to make a weekend of it and stay at Pointe Estero. It was a totally new experience to be on the Island with the intention to lounge on the beach, take my son swimming and have a few cocktails by the pool. =)
It went by too fast and we never actually ended up leaving the resort. We grilled burgers by the pool for dinner, walked on the beach, relaxed in the hot tub and played cards with friends – the perfect weekend!
