Playing with my son in the Gulf!
Walking hand in hand down the beach while looking for shells.
The sound of the ocean make you feel like your thousand of miles away….. paradise is so close in Florida.
How at rest you feel when lying on the beach and the sound of the ocean fills you up.
just having some relaxing fun with your family in the hot sun at the beach
I love being at the very edge of the world, staring out at the waves, watching the sandpipers and seagulls, flying my kite, and being with my family.

Walking along the shoreline without a care in the world as sand get washed off your feet by the ripples of the waves and the smell of the ocean breeze tickles your nose with the warmth of the sun on your face as you hear the waves crash.
no work–all play
What I love the most is feeling the white sand run through my toes!!
I love the feel and smell of the ocean breeze, the hot sun and spending a day of relaxatation on the beach with my husband being able to enjoy one anothers presence on endless walks. It is priceless.
Long walks at night along the shore listening to the waves makes me forget about problems and the world in general and leaves me with a sense of calm and relaxation. I find the beach to be the best therapy.
The best part of living in Fort Myers, FL we all get to escape to the beach. It truly is a get away to come down and watch one of our beautiful sunset after a long day what a perfect way to relax at DiamondHead Resort for dinner or a drink.
The feel like there is nothing standing in between you and your paradise. I love how you can be yourself and still have fun. The beach provides rippling waves which makes surfing fun. You can play sports, you can get a tan, and you can just blow your mind away. Everything at the beach just makes you a happy, calm, and relaxed person.
Just to have the sand in my toes, the gorgeous colour of the sky and sea, my family all happy as we always are at the beach. Its bliss
Just being in the moment and not having to think about anything else for just that moment. Close your eyes and just breathe, and take it slowly in. Relax. . . breathe, and let yourself shed all of your burdens, worries, and thoughts. . . Let your mind clear and just be in the moment for that is really all you have . . . Enjoy yourself this way at the beach in solitude. . . Peace and tranquility. . . .
A day at the beach gives you a chance to connect with your “fun” side!
Thanks!
I love waking up early before anyone else and combing the beach for shells…Ft. Myers has the most awesome beach! Then, after breakfast, sunning on a raft or renting a jet ski until around lunchtime…..after a siesta, another round of sun and sand…or maybe parasailing! Wrap it up with a late night stroll hand in hand with my boyfriend (who I met in Ft. Myers, by the way) along the edge of the water….paradise!
I love hearing the lapping of the water on the beach, laying in on a chaise lounge, feeling the warmth of the sun and a nice breeze off the ocean! Relaxing! Relaxing! Relaxing!
fun in the sun!
A day at the beach means fun and family. A day at the beach is time to spend with the ones I love the most – in a tropical paradise. The beach is special to my husband and I. We were married on the beach at the DiamondHead Beach Resort and go back every year for our anniversary. The beach to us is a symbol of our love and devotion to each other.
Walking barefooted on the sand with my wife, dodging the incoming waves!
Getting the whole family out together for fun, sun and excericse! We go every week-it doesn’t get any better than our beaches!
Watching the dolphin fish close to the shore as I walk along a quiet and uncrowded beach early in the morning.
Watching my daughters search for seashells in the sand as the sunsets over the ocean.
Lounging in a chair with an icy cold beverage in hand, looking out at the calm water with blue skies above while chatting with friends in between lots and lots of laughs!!!
I love the serenity and peacefulness of the sound of the waves, the feel of the sand, and the warmth of the sun…there’s nothing else like it.
The scent of coconuts from sunblock mixing with the sounds of gentle waves on the beach and seagulls cawing in the background.
It’s hard to pick one special thing about a day at the beach. We seldom take the time out from our hectic schedules to enjoy the sand, waves and warm breezes from the water. Working two jobs, taking care of my family and husband and a busy daily routine leaves little time for “me”. Florida has so much to offer and a day at the beach to kick back and relax is “magical”. It’s something we all need to make time for.
A day at the beach is always laughter and sunshine!
I lvoe the peaceful time spent with my kids. Watching them play and enjoy themselves is priceless as they grow up too fast!
Strolling on the white sandy beach, and collecting the most beautiful sand dollars you have ever seen…
The sunsets at the best!
Staying at the GullWing, 1000 miles from work, 5 minute walk to paradise.
i feel close to God there…with the sounds and smells…it is heaven
The beach should be a full day experience. I love it in the morning when it is calm and quiet, the afternoons full of families and the evenings watching the sunset with you loved ones. Never underestimate the ability of water to calm one’s sole.
just grab your love ones, go over and see the sun goes down by the water and see reflection sun in the water. and smell the natural air. let you mind blow you away…
My husband and I get to reconnect and rediscover each other when we sit on the beach and talk. No phones, no kids, no work. Just us. Until we try to eat something and the seagulls show up.
The beach is my heaven and saving place. All wounds are healed when I’m there, alone or with family!
the feel of the sand between my teeth
One word truly describes the beach….RELAXATION!!!
There aren’t words to describe this wonderful beach. The entire day is glorious and the sunsets are indescribable. Three years and running to be back again in Nov. for the sandsculpt contest. The beach is truely alive during that week. What a rush!!!
watching my 2 year old play in the sand
Relaxation is a sandy beach on a sunny, breezy day along with a wonderful sunset to top it off.
Connecting to nature, watching people, pets and birds makes a day at the beach a joy forever!
Watching the ocean lap upon the shore, seeming to wash away a worry with each wave. Ah, to be as stress-free as the sea!
I love walking on the beach with my wife. I also love laying on the beach with the sound of the waves lapping up on the shoreline. Then there are the magnificent sunsets. Makes a day worth while.
Building sandcastles with the kids, looking for shells and picnicing on the beach on New Year’s Eve watching the fireworks with my husband and kids.
chicks,man.
Walking on the beach, enjoying the sea breeze with my fiancee.
Watching the waves, birds, kites and a sand castle come to life before my very eyes.
I love to float on my raft in the early morning and just let the waves wash all my cares away as I soak up the early morning sun. Ahhhhhh…life is good!
