Enjoy the sounds of The Paul Vesco Orchestra, a polished and versatile big band that will start the evening with sophisticated sounds from the days of the Rat Pack complete with vocalists and a great horn section. Their repertoire goes back as far as the 1920s with fun classics from Louis Jordan and goes all the way to the music of today, including great Latin sounds, both traditional and modern.

SunStream Beach Team Visits The 24th Annual SandSculpting Championship

The 24th Annual SandSculpting Competition took place this past weekend on Fort Myers Beach. We got a chance to talk to some of the sculptors, get an inside look at how they go from flat sand to amazing pieces of art, try some of the amazing food and talk to some attendees!  What an amazing weekend it was and congrats to the winner, Brad Goll from Austin, Texas with his “Headache” sculpture… it was truly amazing!

The 2nd Annual GeoPaddle held Nov. 7th at The Resort at MarinaVillage

What a great day it turned out to be! The weather was a little windy in the morning as well as a little chilly, but as soon as the sun starting to shine we were removing all of our layers and were ready for a beautiful fall day in Southwest Florida! We had over 40 paddlers show up and another 14 that signed up but may have been scared off a bit by the early morning chill, and didn’t show up, but all in all it was such a fun day! Head over to the Promenade Farmer's Market for a taste of Cape Coral
While enjoying the beautiful sunshine in Cape Coral, take a moment to taste the flavors that are unique to the Southwest Florida coast. Once the sun starts to dip below the horizon, head over to MarinaVillage and explore the Twilight Promenade Farmer's Market.

The farmer's market, which takes place every Thursday from 5-8 p.m., will allow locals and visitors to wander through the stands and check out the fresh local produce, seafood and bakery items.

The Twilight Promenade will also be a great place to do bring home some delicacies that would make perfect holiday gifts. Merchants will be selling gift baskets, imported cheeses, cigars and honey products that can make great stocking stuffers and small tokens of appreciation. 

Enjoy a meal of fresh seafood with vegetables while wandering through the market and don't be afraid to take some produce back home with you. So while escaping from the cold and relaxing at MarinaVillage, take a moment to pick up some treats and gifts before heading back home

2nd Annual GeoPaddle this Sunday at The Resort at MarinaVillage

Looking for something to do this Sunday to enjoy the amazing weather we’ll be having here in Southwest Florida? Head on over to The Resort at MarinaVillage for the 2nd Annual GeoPaddle event in conjunction with the Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival. What exactly is a GeoPaddle? It’s like a treasure hunt on a kayak! There’s a beginner and an advanced course and prizes will be awarded upon completion of the course, not based on who finishes first. So, as long as you finish, everyone is a winner! Prizes will include resort stays, gift certificates to the restaurants at the resort and much more!

What else is available? The Esterra Spa will be out there providing tours of the spa as well as a resort representative giving tours of the property since it was not opened yet last year for the 1st Annual GeoPaddle and now we are about to celebrate our 1st Birthday!!!

Not much of a kayaker? That’s okay, come out to the all day party at The Nauti Mermaid and enjoy great food and drink specials and live music all day long! Sounds like a blast!!!! Will you be there? I hope so!

Twilight Farmers’ Market kicks off on the Promenade at MarinaVillage

The Resort at MarinaVillage in Cape Coral, Florida is proud to announce a weekly Twilight Farmers’ Market held at the Promenade from 5-8pm every Thursday evening through season. This week the SunStream Beach Team got a little “corny” and promoted the market while standing at the corner of Cape Coral Parkway and Pelican Blvd. After many honks, our corny Beach Team member decided to head to the market to see what the vendors had to offer! He talked to vendors with fresh produce, fresh baked bread, fresh seafood,honey, natural soaps, cigars and much, much more!
